Pakboats XT-17 Double Folding Kayak
CAD $1,600.00
Vehicles > Boats · Good · Kingston, ON
17 foot folding touring double kayak with great paddling performance and speed with adjustable very comfortable seats. Kayak folds up into duffle bag (included). Assembled it is a good performance sea kayak (comparable to solid construction). Can be configured as a single or a double. Includes the frame, skin, 2 nylon decks, 2 skirts, rudder system, Air pump, and 2 paddles (4 pieces each disassembled) which all fit into the duffle bag.
Kayak Dimensions: 17 ft length 24” wide, 44 lbs weight. Packed the weight is about 51 lbs seats and dimensions are approximately 32" x 22" x 15".
Assembly is fairly straightforward (comes with instructions). Though does take some time. Very durable with I-beam frame structure like large tent poles that snap together and the ribs and keel attach with plastic clips. The hull is a thick PVC fabric with built-in multi-cell inflated tubes (for tensioning the skin and flotation). It is in good condition (only lightly used). I just got replacement parts for the only parts that were an issue.
